Oasis Damahana – Balangoda

World children’s Day falls on October every year. Balangoda public school had organized a special programme
to make World Children’s Day children’s songs, Dramas, Creations and other lectures were presented to enhance
children’s abilities and creations. The staff of the school gave the children refreshments.

In the formal education system of Sri Lanka Examinations play a great role. The first government Examination which the small students face first is the grade five scholarship Examination.
The students of Balangoda Damahana public school have passed from grade five scholarship Examination as previous years.
Out of forty students, Eight students have got high marks. There are 36 students who scored more than hundred. The students who showed colurs.
